Information you enter or import may include business and customer details, invoices, payments, projects, receipt images, documents, logos and other files. KertDoc is designed to keep its active records on your device.
If you choose receipt capture or import, the app uses the access you grant to obtain the image or document. Access requests are made through iOS and may be managed in device settings.
If you choose to create a backup, export or share a file, a copy can be sent to a destination you choose, including iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Files or another app. Those services handle the copy under their own terms and privacy policies. KertDoc backup packages are not encrypted by KertDoc; protect the destination account and copies.
If you connect Google Drive, KertDoc requests access to files created or selected for use with KertDoc, rather than all files in your Drive. KertDoc uses this access to create, list, check and download backup archives that you choose to use. It also reads the connected Google account email and an account identifier to identify the connected account and prevent transferring a backup to the wrong account.
The app stores Google authorization credentials in the device Keychain. The credentials are not included in KertDoc backup packages. Backup files are stored in your Google Drive account; Google processes and stores them under its own policies. You can revoke KertDoc access from your Google Account permissions. KertDoc uses information received from Google APIs in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Apple handles App Store payments. KertDoc uses purchase and entitlement information supplied by Apple to determine access and restore eligible purchases. KertDoc does not ask for your payment card number.
Records remain on your device until you remove them, replace the active dataset or remove the app. Copies you saved or shared may remain in Files, cloud storage or with recipients until removed there. In-app deletion does not delete those copies.
